Q: Where are you from?

A:
I am from Afghanistan.

Q: What do you miss about your hometown?

A:
I miss everything, from beautiful views to simple living and also my family.

Q: What do you wish people knew about where you are from?

A:
I always wished that people would know my country is not how it was shown to media, yes we had safety issues but life was easy, simple and full of joy. 

Q: How has it been living in Canada so far?

A:
I
t’s good we are grateful for everything. 

Q: What brings you joy?

A:
Seeing my beloveds and other people happy.

Q: What is your favourite thing to do in Vancouver?

A:
I really like my family time, so going to parks, beach, cafe, restaurants and also trying new things.

 

Q: What's you favourite time of year in Vancouver and why?

A:
I love the spring time when it gets slightly warm, seeing cherry blossoms, and going out with family and friends. 

Q: What are you looking forward to in the future?

A:
I'm looking forward to having a stable life and my own house.

Q: What did you used to do for work?

A:
I used to train people especially women how to do business and make good profit.

Q: What do you love about sewing?

A:
I used to see my mother sewing since childhood and she taught me too, I feel good when I can make any design into reality, it gives me joy, sometimes I get tired but nothing compares to the happy feelings when I'm done with my design. In simple words it’s my favourite hobby and gives me joy.
